@psus24@PolitlcsUK You're being very unfair on mince. Mince has a pretty good record on keeping my bills down, unlike the Net Zero zealots Milliband and Fahnbulleh
The UK Met Office has again been caught publishing temperatures from weather stations that don't exist.
An FOI revealed Lowestoft closed in 2010, yet the Met Office kept issuing official temperatures for it.
The office said they were using "well-correlated" neighboring stations, but the FOI revealed that this was a lie.
The numbers were actually coming from a model that was inventing data from 'phantom' neighboring stations.
When exposed, they quietly deleted years of readings for Lowestoft, as well as a number of other stations, and added a disclaimer saying their data is "for general interest only."
FOIs also show over one third of Met Office stations never existed, and that real high-quality sites like Colwood are ignored.
Also, more than 80% of the network is low-grade class 4 or 5, by WMO standards giving 2-5C uncertainty.
This is the foundation of the UK's climate record โ closed stations, imaginary stations and synthetic temperatures. The Met Office isn't credible.
Exactly one year ago today greater Manchester police sent 10 riot police to my house for an allegation of burglary. The alleged burgled item was a plate of free chicken pasta that was being served in a migrant hotel.
I was on bail for 6 months where I was not able to leave the country, had to sleep at my home address every night, wasnโt allowed within 200 metres of any protest (planned or unplanned) and was not allowed within 100 metres of a migrant hotel or HMO. All my electronic devices were seized for 8 months and there is damage to my door and handle where they applied excessive force to it.
1 year later the case has not been dropped and is classed as RUI (released under investigation.) because of this greater Manchester Police refused to release the body cam footage of them entering my house where they searched everything from my loft and garden to my terminally ill mothers underwear drawer.
I was held in a cell for 8 hours whilst 2 CID detectives travelled from another police station to interview me who asked about my politics and my view on migrants.
Every time I now leave the country I am now greeted by customs or border force on return who ask where I have been and search my belongings/car.
If anyone says 2 tier policing does not exist show them this.
I am still fighting to get this charge dropped but I am dealing with one of the most corrupt police forces in the country!
@TrisOsborneMP@Conservatives The tax funded mass immigration, Net Zero and Welfare are policies have played a major drain on the UK economy and Labour are doing absolutely nothing to stop any of them
@spikedonline Hopefully a spin off from a successful programme they'll title ' I'm A Celebrity Dont Get Me Out Of Here ' and we can all vote to keep Meghan in there
@simonwatt85 Hopefully they're making a new version of a successful programme and calling it
'I'm A Celebrity Don't Get Me Out Of Here' - and we can vote to keep her there
UK 10 year gilts are now over 5%.
Under Liz Truss, they spiked around 4.5% and the media had a meltdown and demanded she resign.
Under Burnham, the media are silent on the issue.
You canโt hate the media enough.
At least many Labour MPs had the sense to realise they only had one shot at this.
Andy Burnham inherited No 10 without changing the political settlement that made Keir Starmer untenable.
Labour still cannot decide whether it believes wealth must be created or merely redistributed; whether migration needs controlling or managing; whether growth means building things or announcing things; whether the Treasury sets the limits or activists set the agenda.
That is not a Government with a plan.
It is a coalition of competing anxieties with a new leader trying to narrate over the noise.
The question is simple: what has actually changed? Other than No10 North of course (whatever that is)?
@BenGrahamUK Ridiculous planning laws, overly complicated beaurocracy, extensive health and safety regulations, environmental regulations and petitions and legal challenges to name a few reasons if anything gets done, it takes nearly forever and costs spiral out of control
