@ChrisC_CFC @cargobikeben Falling asleep at the wheel is another plausible possibility. The panicked steer, and spike of adrenaline would also line-up with such a situation.
Another possibility is being distracted while driving - such as by a child in the rear seat.
@RevolutApp, I would like to close my account - as I have requested in the past.
I do not want to do so through your app. Your app no longer being compatible with my device and lack of proper non-app avenues of support are precisely why I've already asked to close my account.
So. Having received my glasses in good condition, I find that I owe @MaltaPost an apology for having slightly jumped the gun. While it certainly would have been nice to have been notified of parcel arrival by post - in this instance the inconvenience caused is small. Thank you.
Thank you @MaltaPost for keeping me from my first prescription glasses. Thanks to you, and your inability to slip a piece of paper into my letter box like you do with every single other kind of postage, I get to continue not having glasses. Thank you so much for your service.
And, prey tell, @Maltapost, what amount was I to pay in duties on my prescription glasses the cost of 'maybe' a typical Burger King meal for two in #Malta? Was it really worth the while to send my glasses back?
@elonmusk 'Because'.
You forgot to include the reason for wanting power, as that does make a difference - even if the road to hell may be paved with good intentions - motives make a difference nonetheless.
@F_Nela1@honestsportz@elonmusk 'Should' the powerful remain neutral? From a self-interest standpoint - yes that makes sense.
An alternative is to place politicians in one's bankrolled pockets & push one's agenda that way. That would be the meta...
But otherwise, whom should 'not' remain neutral? Am curious.
@elonmusk Why? Because unless you wish to surround yourself with yes-persons of dubious worth... that lead you to decisions of dubious worth... then that is going to need to involve listening to views that aren't necessarily the sweetest to hear but 'need' to be heard.
It is perhaps telling that I am more inclined to speak when I have something to be angry about - but this below is a masterpiece that strikes that sweet spot between tragedy and hilarity.

@Thenamesemu Good to see that plasmas are playable, especially for keyboard controls where being able to get off one's shots in succession is less important.
@Jballen_97@BorisJohnson@MattHancock As I think about that question, I acknowledge that consumerism is part of the reason - living big. However I wonder if baseline costs of living in the UK in its own right would also require both parents to work so as to make ends meet. I am not sure - but this strayed from covid.
@Jballen_97@BorisJohnson@MattHancock Of course its valid to point out that schools take on the role of tender, permitting both parents to work, but this necessity would not only be mitigated through investment in remote infrastructures, but it also raises the question of why it should be necessary for both to do so.
@Jballen_97@BorisJohnson@MattHancock That is... highly unfortunate. Disturbing even. No demographic spreads illness quite so liberally as children (and this because they have yet to develop the sense and habits that permit a significant portion of adults to be less propagating of a vector), & schools are a hot spot.
@Jballen_97@BorisJohnson@MattHancock These changes remain desirable regardless of the presence of a pandemic as covid is not the only virus around the block - and measures versus covid have a knock-on benefit in dealing with other viral infections.
Also - it is better to have a consistent "lower" level of activity.
@Jballen_97@BorisJohnson@MattHancock The correct way forward was and remains long-term lifestyle and structural adjustments.
The aim is to reduce the need for individuals to interact, this by reducing points & duration of contact and thereby reducing transmission events.
This changes work, retail, education, etc.
