@frankieptaylor About 10 mins in but it’s an interesting watch so far. I guess we’re using something similar as you could bring the idea across and tweak for footy data. Maybe explains how we occasionally get credited with an interest in a player who ends up at a big club within 12 months or so

@frankieptaylor I think Bruno Mendes will be a big loss, I think he was the guy who set up the Benfica LAB stuff which was pretty cutting edge tech to track player workload and avoid injuries etc

@frankieptaylor Part of me thinks SK must realise that our immediate rivals all getting Europe except us puts us at a disadvantage and that he must be able to tweak something to take us up a notch. I get we’re a safe bet and that’s good but surely he sees the ROI of making Europe for optics

@frankieptaylor Reckon SK might be tempted to restructure a bit like he did with the Jags by bringing in Coen & Gladstone with Boselli to revamp the playing side of things? Been a lot less TK activity recently and only SK was quoted in the article about silva leaving

@frankieptaylor Even though a new manager will need 6-7 additions at minimum, there’s a really solid base to work from and you could argue a more adventurous coach immediately gets more out of what we’ve got because the last 6 months were a bit stale tbh

@frankieptaylor I do wonder if it’s worth maybe signing a proper DM and allowing him to play as more of a no 8 getting around the pitch. When he’s got the ball at his feet he’s very impressive to watch and he’s given more freedom for Norway which he does a good job with
