If you don’t feel good about something, if you have to talk yourself into it, make excuses about why it’s okay, then it’s not worth it. You’ll never go wrong taking the high road. Show God He can trust you, that you’ll go the extra mile to do the right thing.
It may look impossible, you may not be able to do it on your own, but you’re not on your own. Don’t make the mistake of talking about how it’s not going to happen. You have to call in what God promised.
You may have situations that look like they’ll never work out. If you only consider the circumstances, you’ll get discouraged and give up. Don’t consider your circumstances; consider your God.
See yourself as someone that’s well able. The reason you face big challenges is because you have a big destiny. The reason you have great obstacles is because you have greatness in you.
God is saying to you today, “You are blessed. You are favored. You are strong, talented, valuable, free. You have greatness in you. You are destined to leave your mark, to make the world a better place. You’re about to shine; you’re about to see favor in greater ways.”
Do your part, tune out all the negative voices. What God has declared, no person can stop, no bad break, no disappointment. The blessing overrides the curse.
Take the limits off of God and take the limits off yourself. Quit telling yourself all the reasons you can’t accomplish your dream, what you don’t have, and what you didn’t get. Don’t talk yourself out of it. Receive the blessing.
I declare this will be a year of God’s favor: freedom from every bad habit, recovery from everything that was lost. I declare that you will experience new happiness, new fulfillment. I declare that you are blessed.
What God has ordained, no person can stop, no bad break, no addiction. If you’ll keep honoring God, being your best, what God has set up will find you. You won’t have to go after it; it will come after you.
If you want to know what you’re going to be like five years from now, listen to what you’re saying about yourself. Don’t use your words to describe the situation; use your words to change the situation.
Life is fragile. Time is too short to live bitter, offended. God knows what you didn’t get. He knows what wasn’t fair. Quit trying to make people pay you back. Go to God and He’ll make it up to you.
Forgive the people that did you wrong. They hurt you once; don’t let them continue to hurt you. They can’t stop your destiny unless you allow them to. You don't forgive for their sake; you forgive for your sake.
When you don’t see a way, instead of getting discouraged, you have to remind yourself, “The God we serve is not looking for a door; He’s not hoping to find the door. He is the door.”
When you go through a disappointment, you could be upset, bitter, but when you overflow with hope, you know that what was meant for harm, God is turning to your advantage. Weeping may endure for a night, but you know joy is coming.
God has given us powerful promises in the scripture. But, as powerful as these promises are, as encouraging and inspiring as they can be, there’s only one ingredient that activates the power, one ingredient that ignites what God said, and that’s faith.
