I hate watching the NHS fall into the hands of private companies.
We're now at a stage (or we've been there for a while) where companies don't have to respond to GP referrals and my GP's policy is that I should do the chasing: we're outsourcing admin to patients.

@m_kortabarria Yep, fair. Though I guess this ‘inefficiency’—the insane amount of death, the ruthlessness of nature, the waste of life—doesn’t suggest a ‘pleasing’ or ‘balanced’ system of relations. Perhaps it’s ‘orderly’ at best. Or it’s the most ‘efficient’ it can be across possible worlds.

For various reasons we should strive for harmony with nature. But is nature itself harmonious? If left to its own devices, it certainly isn't efficient. Every second innumerable animals and plants die without procreating or going about their other worldly matters.

@m_kortabarria Once during my MA I dreamed about the PSR before I knew what the PSR was. This happened during a time I was writing the dissertation, when I had reached a difficult point in an argument. The PSR resolved it and (via Dasgupta) got me into grounding!

Tbh, I was worried when we played well against Liverpool in the FA Cup last year (and lost 3-0). The performance in the first half probably helped persuade RM that his style of football would work in the PL, when actually this was but one game against a B-side. #SaintsFC
