Watching Messi today is like seeing the most gorgeous of sunsets. Perhaps the sun isn’t at it brightest, but as it hits the horizon it’s a glowing red that is breathlessly captivating.

I know we’re close to the end, but he doesn’t play like it. He scores the same goals from a decade ago. The ones that made you ask how someone can do that? He’s able to produce that feeling of wonder…still.

But every goal means we’re closer to the last.

When we started Tech It or Leave It, the vision was simple: to help more young Africans discover opportunities in technology and build the skills to take advantage of them.

Today, I’m excited to share that we are taking another step towards that vision through the Women’s Digital Skills Bootcamp, in partnership with Ecobank.

Over five days, we will equip young women with practical digital skills, create room for hands-on learning, and inspire them to explore the opportunities available in the digital economy.

I believe talent is everywhere, but access to opportunities is not. Sometimes, all a young person needs is the right exposure, the right skills, and someone willing to open the door.

This is more than a training programme. It is part of our mission to help 1,000 Africans enter the tech ecosystem every year, starting here in Sierra Leone.

We are building impact, one young person at a time. 🚀
