Neeeew achievement!
You pissed off little Nicky so much he had to go and use the big old block button on you.
Just like a real wolf.
Reward: The trash took itself out. That's your reward.
Step 1: Hype product (AI) so everyone thinks it's the next big money maker
Step 2: Take in tons of investor money
Step 3: Bankruptcy Fire Sale
Step 4: Offload assets to yourself super-cheap, leave debt unpaid, crash economy
Step 5: Find next product to hype.
Pretty basic formula
Something's totally off about the number of data centers being built (over 3,000 right now) and the sheer size and compute power they represent.
They are massively OVER-building capacity that can't possibly be met by customer demand for compute.
And customer revenues can't possibly recover the financial investment needed on these projects.
There's clearly some other plan afoot, and I don't yet know what it is. It involves massive compute, but not merely to serve inference or hosting databases and corporate data. There's a much larger plan at work here.
Public service means serving the PEOPLE, not catering to a handful of wealthy, powerful people while ignoring the needs and concerns of the residents in our communities. If elected, I'll fight for working folks who deserve a good day's pay for a good day's work. #ProWorker
It's pretty clear here that the Past President being referred to here is none other than President Trump himself.
He likes himself and he wishes he'd attacked Iran in his first term so that he wouldn't have lost in 2020.
Trump: "I spoke to one of the former presidents who I actually like. I actually speak to some, I do like some people, it'd be shocking. And he said, 'I wish I did what you did.' Other presidents, somebody should've done it. 47 years this went on."
Imagine the only healthcare option is the one assigned by your zip code. If you go elsewhere, you pay out of pocket for the option that’s right for you, plus your assigned option. As crazy as that is, that’s the reality for many families in MO re education for their children
While as a father I certainly understand President @JoeBiden’s natural desire to help his son by pardoning him, I am disappointed that he put his family ahead of the country. This is a bad precedent that could be abused by later Presidents and will sadly tarnish his reputation. When you become President, your role is Pater familias of the nation. Hunter brought the legal trouble he faced on himself, and one can sympathize with his struggles while also acknowledging that no one is above the law, not a President and not a President’s son.
Hot Take: All ethics complaints and the associated reports should be made public, as Government employees are supposed to work for us.
You can put processes in place to keep complaints sealed during investigation for integrity, but let the people see what happened.
The idea that the country "stood behind President Obama because he was the President and that's how America used to be" is ludicrous, and here's a picture to show you how ridiculous that claim is.
There's a Tik-Tok personality that goes around under the guise of "making men feel appreciated". However, the content itself actually makes it seem like women just want to take advantage of men all the time.
It's all a money-making fugazi, of course.
Let me tell you a secret about how you, as one, individual person, can have an impact on your Republican Senator or Representative.
1️⃣ You’re going to call, email and write to that person at their national and district office. You’re going use your own words. No more than one page. Include your name and address (showing you live in their state or district).
2️⃣ You’re going to find the district office nearest to you and visit it in person. You’re going to ask to speak to someone—frankly, it doesn’t matter who. The district workers actually live here, in the community with you. They may send their kid to the same school.
They may shop at the same Wal-Mart or visit the same Christmas Tree farm. You’re going to be polite and civil. Introduce yourself and ask to speak with someone about a concern. If they ask what it is, tell them. If they say there’s no one you can see, ask to talk to them. Get their name.
Most people will look dumbfounded but say yes. Then, before diving in, ask where they are from. Build rapport, find a quick commonality. And then, in just 1-2 sentences explain your feelings on the issue. Then spend 1-2 sentences making the issue local. It doesn’t hurt to fake compliment either.
So for example: “I’m concerned about the tariffs that might happen. Joshua Hawley says he cares about workers. But my uncle works at the plant and he’s not getting the planned bonus this year because they’re preparing for cost increases.”
Then, you wait. Resist the urge to speak again. Wait. Force that person to say something. Look at them kindly. Wait for them to say something. Doesn’t really matter what they say. At the end ask if you can leave your note that explains the problem (the note should mirror what you said). And leave.
3️⃣ About two weeks later, call the local office. Ask to speak with that same person. And politely ask what your Senator or Representative plans to do about the concern you raised.
What’s the impact?
Well, first of all, offices log and record all communications that come in. I worked in an office where we kept track, numerically, of how many concerns came in about which issue. The issues with the most complaints were talked about first in our constituent services meetings.
At the local office, these folks are not career beltway politicos hoping for proximity to power. They are more apt to still see you as a person and not a Democrat. And they will be more likely to vocalize the concern in a human way.
The effect, when many individuals do this work, is a gradual softening on the issue by the staff which reaches their boss. For folks in more purple districts, this can have great effect. In more red districts where the person is of a more old school or traditionalist style it can still help.
Regardless of outcome, it’s still important to do because the offices need to be aware of the very vocal opposition to damaging policies. If we go silent, they will believe there’s widespread support where none exists. We must use our voice and the tools available while we still have them.
😎 P.S. All of this is even more impactful at the state and local level.
