Багато хто питає, що робити далі, чи буде ще хода тощо. Скажу чесно – крайній тиждень відчуваю якусь тотальну фрустрацію і зневіру.

Особисто мене президент максимально розчарував своїм мовчанням, особливо враховуючи, що відсутність комунікації фактично стала тригером цих протестів.

Як я вже неодноразово казав, відсутність діалогу між ОП і суспільством давно стала інституційною проблемою, а подальше ігнорування людей призведе лише до ще більшого накопичення злості і недовіри.

Знаю, що всі вже сильно втомилися, тож пропоную провести наступну акцію в п'ятницю, 14 серпня.
Це рівно місяць від початку протестів, спровокованих невдалими кадровими рішеннями президента.

За цей час нам вдалося багато чого досягти:
- На вимогу суспільства замінили головкома, і ми вже бачимо позитивні кроки нового головкома Драпатого. Сподіваємось, йому дадуть достатньо часу, аби нарешті здійснити потрібні зміни в армії і на фронті;
- Ми зібрали найбільш масові протести з часів Революції Гідності та провели ходу в багатьох містах країни;
- Про проблеми в оборонному секторі нарешті почали говорити публічно; нарешті піднімаються питання плану ведення війни та важливості ефективних закупівель для військових.

Водночас незрозуміло, чому президент продовжує ігнорувати протести і не знаходить у своїх вечірніх зверненнях навіть одного речення для належної реакції. Натомість на протестувальників виливається купа негативу з телеграм-смітників, що так чи інакше пов’язані з ОП. Щиро сподіваюсь, що Зеленський відчує політичні наслідки своїх дій на післявоєнних виборах.

Пропоную 14 серпня зробити ще одну спробу, щоб донести до президента: суспільство вимагає діалогу, чіткого плану дій та бачення реформ, а не схем навколо оборонних закупівель.

Тож, 14 серпня о 19:00 буду на площі Франка і вас запрошую приєднатися.

Fedorov’s reaction (i.e. saying no to any offer but the position of the defense minister) is more than understandable.

A deputy PM post for military technology that Zelensky’s offering him might sound sexy, but in reality it’s nothing more than a figurehead role with no authority and no budgets, whose sole function would be to sit tight, put on a show of vigorous reformist activity, and stay out of the way of the respectable people making money off the war’s state procurement.

Some other official would be thrilled to land such a cushy, no-hassle post.

But not someone who actually wants to change the situation and lead Ukraine to victory in the war.

So Zelensky will have to swallow his made-up pride here too and stop listening to his buddies. Because everyone wants Fedorov back, from the new top military command to civil society, and he’ll have to fully correct this incompetent mistake of his.
