From pop-up to permanent: The Yard is now here to stay. After 13 years on our current site, we're doubling up and rebuilding a bigger and better state-of-the-art theatre in Hackney Wick.
A new era. We’ve completely transformed our brand and website to better reflect who we are, and where we're heading.
Thank you to @BloombergDotOrg for their generous backing and support. Check us out, tell us what you think and enjoy.

Have just finished PM-ing a theatre festival for young, community and schools drama groups. 21 shows in 14 days. Incredible achievement for all those involved. And amazing opportunity generated by @BirminghamRep
Here for a month for up. Building an interactive play space for children and adults to have fun. Completely out of reused materials and reclaimed set from theatre and arts shows. Really positive step in how to creative sustainable shows.
📣 HELP NEEDED: We're on the lookout for some last-minute support with tech on a NOW show next week as one of our team members has taken ill!
So we need a Duty Technician to join us next week for two get-ins, a nightly pre-set, changeover and reset.
Please spread the word! 👇
It's also the second last night of Marikiscrycrycry's run at #NOW23, happening at 9pm, right after The Egg Show. Malik's been making work regularly with us for over 6 years. If you don't know, there's still time to get to know.

First look at Marikiscrycrycry's Goner at #NOW23 — a sinister descent into fear, fantasy, violence and belonging that gives way to full-blown monstrous terror topped with orange chaps. It'll leave your stomach (and mind) in knots.
Until 22 April 🩸

Just a quick reminder.
The London Living wage is £11.95/h this year.
A 'standard' tech day is 13 hours.
That is £155.35.
This is why it's not okay for freelance techs & creatives to be asked to work for £100-£125 per day.
We have to look after each other.
BREAKING🚨| The government has announced anti-strike legislation.
When workers democratically vote to strike, they can be forced to work and sacked if they don’t. This is wrong, unworkable, and almost certainly illegal.
Our negotiators are currently in the room with Royal Mail Group and this happens. We need the public to see this so please share as much as you can #StandByYourPost
