While there’s no pilot onboard our autonomous #eVTOL #airtaxi, we still have to avoid other aircraft and maintain separation requirements. We do this through a robust, multi-layer deconfliction process, including route design, flight planning, air traffic control services, and onboard sensors.

This weekend, we became the first #eVTOL #airtaxi company to conduct public flights in Los Angeles! We also spent time at @LGBAirport’s Festival of Flight, to talk with the community about AAM. Check out the video and press release below to see highlights from the weekend.

This week we hosted a delegation from key Federal departments and agencies, as part of the Advanced Air Mobility Interagency Working Group focused on #AAM and the integral role autonomous #airtaxis will play in the future of #mobility.

Together, we saw our previous five generations of aircraft, and an autonomous flight with our Gen 5 (Cora) technology demonstrator, including multiple transitions. We also got to experience our 6th Generation air taxi and learn about our autonomous approach to AAM.

As a leader in autonomous flight, we are excited to see the emphasis being placed on autonomy, which is critical to unlocking safety, scalability, and accessibility/affordability for future #airtaxi services. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with the @USDOT and other agencies, as part of a whole-government approach to developing a strategic plan for the adoption of AAM - from infrastructure to power grids, and more.
