✨I never thought that I would find poetry in a wall. Just looking at this wall on Barn Street in Lavenham lowers my heart rate. Can't quite explain why the combination of texture, colour, and materials seems to impact the senses so much.
Hello @CeliaRichards0n@nationaltrust - any chance of a retweet please. Professor William Whyte is giving a lecture on Octavia Hill as one of our 'Victorian and Edwardian Women in Architecture' online lecture series. Thank you.
🍏Sad news from @C20Cymru that the Grade II listed Big Apple, Mumbles has (again) been damaged by a car.
It's a rare survival of a 1930s reinforced concrete Cidatone kiosk, later converted to an ice-cream kiosk. Hopefully support will be available to fully restore.
“If it opens people’s eyes to the beauty and diversity of the architecture of the period, it will be marvellous”

Please share this to inform the left wing echo chamber where needed.
UPDATE: Sad news via @andybrammers, that the lovely 1923 Clough Williams-Ellis cottage in Oxford has now been demolished.
It was commissioned by the Canadian author and early 20th century feminist Lily Dougall, and her same-sex partner Sophia Earp.
C20 Society attempted to save the property back in 2022, but our application to spot list was rejected.
