@thespacedmonkey They don't contribute to @wordpress, those things are all marketing tools to attract more customers. giving back is doing things where there is no glory... such as working on the core. FrostWP was a premium theme originally, camps and meetup they have their branding to sell.

@kylevandeusen @photomatt The difference is they give back to @WordPress, they contribute 5 times the hours that WPE does. All I've heard from @photomatt is that he would love for them to contribute to actually building WordPress instead of just making money off of it. So it may continue to grow.
