The 2026 Atlantic hurricane season just started, but Florida is dedicated to disaster preparedness all year round. We always plan for the worst that nature can throw at us, and we execute those plans to ensure effective response, recovery, and restoration.
I encourage all Florida residents and visitors to have a household plan for hurricane season that considers the needs of children, seniors, and pets in their family. Disaster preparedness essentials—including many pet items—are now tax-free in Florida.
Make sure to follow @FLSERT and your local emergency management for important updates heading into this hurricane season!
Not exactly true. Reef road in Palm Beach bombs with a tropical system offshore . But yeah, the Gulf generally sucks for surfing but sup , fishing and boating 💯
Dear @AmericanAir not sure what’s worse y’all making me gate check my only carry on, the overly long wait for said bag in baggage claim , or your rude flight crew? Pretty sure Spirit is better than y’all.
This is how it's done! An Easter Miracle....
🚨🚨🚨BREAKING: A senior U.S. military official just called this one of the most complex and daring special operations missions in American history.
The details coming out are nothing short of extraordinary.
After the Weapons Systems Officer (WSO) from the downed F-15E was recovered deep inside Iran, two U.S. transport planes got stuck at a remote base. Commanders quickly flew in three replacement aircraft, extracted every American safely, and destroyed the two disabled planes on the ground so they wouldn’t fall into Iranian hands.
The F-15E went down in a part of Iran where there’s real opposition to the regime. It looks like the WSO received help from local civilians who risked everything to shelter an American airman while their own government was hunting him.
The CIA has a process for exactly this kind of thing — called unconventional assisted recovery — where they connect with locals willing to protect our troops in harm’s way.
Put it all together: Our pilot ejected, climbed into the mountains, was protected by brave Iranian civilians who hate the regime, evaded capture for nearly 48 hours while Iran offered bounties, survived a fierce firefight during the rescue, and was extracted in an operation so complex that it required additional aircraft to get everyone out safely — with the original planes destroyed on the way out.
What an incredible story of courage, ingenuity, and American resolve.
God bless our military and all those who helped bring our hero home.

Tires with 11,000 miles and a nail. Firestone told me they are not repairable. Firestone said this is not repairable because of the location and that I would need a new tire. It's a slow leak, about 1-2 psi a day. I am in disbelief that this is not repairable.. Can I not just get a fix kit? 🤧
I too had them out for a very high number. The company I used immediately followed them . The salesman asked who else have you gotten an estimate from ? I said Renewal By Anderson , he said, “ I love coming in after them “ lol
We had Renewal By Anderson out at the house last year to give us a quote for 11 windows and a sliding glass door.
$35,000.
How do these guys stay in business?
Not sure where you’re flying from
But Tampa airport has been a dream and almost entirely unaffected by TSA issues. So maybe fly to Tampa and drive to Ft Lauderdale?
Legitimately now considering driving 14.5 hours to Ft. Lauderdale this coming weekend vs. flying.
Drive is brutal, but my worst nightmare is getting caught in this TSA mess flying with 3 young kids
Question to those who've been flying.
Is it really that bad right now?
