@mjgoodsontx Bottom line men, if you truly have a reviling wife, disengage from David Edgington. He grossly mis-diagnosed my daughter’s situation and almost killed the marriage until she figured out the path that David had her and her husband on. He promotes an aggressive response to feminism
@h_um_ble_ @DavidEdgington Myrna, amen. If I would have found DAVID 30 years ago, he would have given me a false sense of repentance and then a license to unload on my wife. His doctrine is not Sound. He misdiagnosis relationships, lumping everyone into one category he needs godly counseling, and healing.
@TheMcGloneCode@DavidEdgington John, I have been following Christ for 45 years and I’m a student of the Word. Do some investigating into David’s background and ties to the Ogden Brothers instead of healing marriages they are counseling couples with the ultimate outcome of creating a “Stepford wife“.
@benkreis@DavidEdgington Amen brother. I am the father of the daughter who posted that comment. She is a mature, godly woman who was concerned for her godly Christian sister. When DAVID receives criticism he quickly throws out a scripture and diagnosis the person from 2000 miles away!
@DavidEdgington DAVID makes these sorts of posts when he gets resistance. It is his way to quickly retaliate when someone questions him. He was destroying my daughter’s marriage and when I challenged him, he quickly diagnosed and dismissed me from 2000 miles away!
@DavidEdgington DAVID Eddington is not qualified to be a pastor. He has a criminal record (look it up). The qualification for a Pastor I Timothy 3:2, “man of one wife”. DAVID, you cannot erase your first everlasting binding agreement of your first marriage, and now call yourself, man of one wife
@DavidEdgington I have been following Christ since age 15, and a student of the Word since. I love sound doctrine, but what David doesn’t understand is the difference between submission and obedience. He lumps the 2 together to produce a “Stepford Wife”. Check out the movie to get my vibe.
@DavidEdgington For all reading, check out the Ogden brothers out of Utah. The Pastor their reeks of Mormonism philosophy when it comes to women, he preaches down to women at all costs. Any woman who disagrees with a man is a “reviling woman”.
@DavidEdgington David Edgington totally misdiagnosed my daughter and son-in-law‘s issues. He created a false sense of repentance in my son-in-law, and then took him down a path of leading with the iron fist. There are many other legitimate, godly counselors out there, run away from this guy.
@DavidEdgington For anyone reading this, look into Mormonism, watch some of the documentaries, that is how those men treat their wives, what David is promoting, he just doesn’t see it. David is not qualified to be a pastor, able to properly discern the Word of God and apply it.
@DavidEdgington My daughter praised you in the beginning but when she found out what your end game is (HP), she called your nonsense. She saw your responses to other women and put the puzzle together. It’s very interesting to me that you have already diagnosed me, and you don’t even know me.
@DavidEdgington The problem with david’s approach in the counseling realm is he lacks the psychiatric skill to properly assess the problem and pursue a biblical solution. At the end of the day, it ends up being an extreme response to feminism that ends up hurting the marriage.
@DavidEdgington Lastly, in listening to some of your interviews and reading your tweets, it is fairly easy to see that you need psychiatric healing, and counsel yourself, before you can see clearly and help other people. Run from this man, those who see this.
@DavidEdgington Your book is creating damage because those men that need real biblical help, latch onto your extreme narrative, bypassing the step for true repentance and Sound biblical council which you are not able to give them.
@DavidEdgington What DAVID really meant to say was “a woman who fears her husband will be praised“. I’m sure Mr. Edgington is a nice guy, but just to warn those that are engaged with him or thinking about being engaged in counseling, beware. He just about destroyed my daughter’s marriage.
