@passportsss@moderndayscaler Strange, I’ve had this email numerous times. Even on stores that sell things as basic as home decor. Whenever the sales start Ramping up.
have had this store for all of 7 days
fulfill instantly and all orders have tracking, not a single cb
actually insane that once you start to scale Shopify just fucks you
If you are just starting out right now with ecom this is actually a great time to get a massive head start
Its about to be q4
People will be in the buying mindset
Receiving bonuses from work
Which all goes in your favor if you know how to position yourself right
And listen...
I know you might be tempted to sell a seasonal product in this time
But if you want a long term store then don’t
Instead look at something that solves a pain or some kind of problem
Make sure the market is big enough with a lot of sub niches
And look for inspiration from brands with 100k-300k monthly visits
Don’t look at massive brands as they are competing on unit economics you simply can't get right now
And if you genuinely want to make money this q4 then move fast
If you sell subscriptions on Shopify, yesterday's change impacts your ads and overall business:
Shopify quietly updated the subscription disclosure at checkout.
Here's what https://t.co/5OLof3bFrJ caught between Sunday and yesterday:
1. Placement change from below the "Pay now" button to above.
2. Font weight from light to bold.
3. More explicit language about the subscription.
Rolled out yesterday, June 22nd per Shopify's changelog: https://t.co/6Mph0yXygQ
Seeing this in your checkout? Noticed any impact on conversion or ad performance?

You do not need to manipulate buyers. You need to understand them.
The famous $10K/month target sounds enormous until you break it down.
Example:
200 active customers × $50/month = $10,000/month.
But you do not magically wake up with 200 retained customers.
You earn them.
10 customers.
Learn.
25 customers.
Fix support.
50 customers.
Improve the funnel.
100 customers.
Study retention.
Then keep stacking.
Some customers leave.
Some reorder.
Some buy more.
Some never return.
Your job is to make the economics work across the whole customer base.
MRR is not a shortcut around good ecommerce.
It is what can happen when good ecommerce creates repeat behaviour.

Before you spend another $100 on Meta, answer these questions.
Why talk about older women in Health & Beauty?
Not because every older woman is the same.
That would be lazy marketing.
The opportunity is that specific segments can have:
• Established buying routines
• Clear product preferences
• Problems they actively research
• Purchasing power
• Strong demand for trust and credibility
• Products they may genuinely replenish
The mistake is one generic ad shouting an exaggerated promise.
Instead ask:
What is she worried about?
What has she tried?
What does she distrust?
What would make the product credible?
What does she value besides price?
Then write to THAT person.
Good avatar research makes creative easier.
