I’m not posting on Twitter / X so much these days.
I write a weekly update on my blog, so please do check it out if you’d like to read more from me!
Here’s the latest:

We’re just 19 years into the iPhone and I’ve finally made an app.
I’ve been quite reluctant to share this out of embarrassment but hey, you’ve got to start somewhere right?

@mskoriwilson Kori, are you aware this is a quote attributed to a few people in the past? Attributed to Anita Roddick, Dalai Lama XIV, and possibly originates as a west African proverb. https://t.co/G2gD2z5DZS
I've personally decided to focus on writing (vs audio / video). I like @jamesjgill's comments on this:
"A wonderful thing about writing is it tends to last a lot longer than audio or video. It’s easier to find via search, and can more easily be edited to bring it up to date."
7 years ago I wrote about taking a break.
Having just come back from a week off, this feels as relevant as ever. I feel like a different person to who I was before I went away.

@davidlowemusic2 Thank you for sharing this, David. I have always found the theme to be so exciting to listen to. The anticipation really builds, and I didn’t quite know why until you explained it so eloquently. Thank you!
I also like the Bill Bailey version ;-)
I’ve been using Notion Home for a few weeks and assumed it was out for everyone!
It’s great to have an area with some hierarchy and opinion in an otherwise freeform environment. I’ve found myself using it more and more to start from.
Notion Home: a space where your most relevant work and knowledge come together 🏠
Easily jump back into active documents and projects, view calendar events, see assigned tasks, and pin your favorite databases for easy access.
I love this post about sound design in apps, from @notboring.
It seems strange to me that sound design in web based software is borderline non existent — why is that? And what apps am I overlooking?
