Here's My Morning Thoughts On $BTC And Other Major Alts Down

I woke up to $BTC at $78.2k which means it was down 6% overnight while i was sleeping. I think a major cause of the dump or should I say dip was the Iran situation that escalated and weekend liquidity amplified the move as well.

BTC sitting at $78.2k right now, down 6.2% since yesterday, here are some of the data I checked:

1. Liquidations: $2.1B was wiped out in 24h. 82% longs got crushed. Funding turned negative for first time in weeks. Open interests was also down 8%, even most overleveraged positions were getting cleared before feb starts.

2. On-chain Scenario: 15k BTC were flowing into exchanges (sell pressure building). Some miners dumped 2% of reserves (winter storm forcing capitulation). Stablecoin supply went flat at $172B (no new money entering yet).

Here's What I'm Watching Closely

• $77k support testing right now
• long/short ratio at 0.48 (extreme fear everyone positioned for more downside)
• Iran tensions + US miner stress from weather

My opinion: Jan flushed everyone out like expected. Funding flipped negative, leverage positions were cleared, sentiment dead. This is what is needed to happen before Feb bounces but then $77k has to hold. Lose that and $68k is next. watching closely tho.
