THE BOOM BOOMERS (https://t.co/IEXN4zJ6pA) moved into the overall lead of VELOGAME 2025 at today's Stage 11 scoring update, with a team that contains 7 out of the leading 11 Velogames points-scoring riders so far. SPINZALOT (https://t.co/mLY36B1I2G) topped the daily leaderboard.
@BritishConti Be interesting to see how they cope with a 100+ field on a course with ~50s laps. BC haven't exactly been create with dealing with lapped riders in the past.
Great to be racing in the South though for the second (?) time in the last 5 years on a national level.
@VeloUK BC now saying we should've known it was the finishing lap for us... 30m to go the lap board is out for us (white board on the left that's taken in). The flag comes out in the final 10m and apparently we should've reacted to it lol
@VeloUK@BritishCycling @BritishConti
@VeloUK I was in G2. We'd have happily pulled over to let them pass. Instead we got no warning from anyone and first we saw of the front group was 20m to go when they were trying to finish. On top of that half the group were given time 1 to go, the rest on the flag. BC classic.

@E_Grace_ Thanks Elspeth! Yep I had no idea it'd be so different before I started. I thought this was the best I could do post race - I'll make every effort beforehand now too going forward 👍
Super happy to win my first race of the year at the Hainault Hilly today.
That being said - the men's prize was over 3x higher than the women's and this is not acceptable in 2022. I'll be donating my winnings to a charity supporting Ukrainians - TT organisers sort it out
