@rebeccakschulz Thank you for your public service. You served with distinction. The hard work and integrity you demonstrated, day in and day out, will be hard to replace. Best wishes on what comes next!
Canadian research made possible by Canadians - Dr Toshifumi Yokota (who holds the Friends of Garrett Cumming Research & Muscular Dystrophy Canada Endowed Research Chair) and his team at the University of Alberta have identified a new peptide that makes existing genetic therapies for Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) more effective, particularly in the heart.

While there are currently no approved treatments or cures for DMD, this breakthrough brings us one step closer to improving treatments for people living with DMD and other neuromuscular disorders.
At Muscular Dystrophy Canada, we are proud to see the impact of donor support driving world-class research with life-changing potential. These advancements remind us why investments in research matter. They create hope, improve care, and bring us closer to new treatments.

The set-up at Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievreโs press conference in Milton about housing - heโs proposing to save 100k on average home by incentivizing municipalities to cut development charges, offering to reimburse 50% up to a maximum of $50,000
Of all the false things people say about @PierrePoilievre, the one that's most infuriating is "he's got no policies." It's not true. Since he became leader and during the campaign, no one has put out more substantive policy in Opposition.
A ๐งตof just some of these policies:
Economic rocket fuel to relaunch ๐จ๐ฆโs economy.
Zero capital gains tax if you reinvest the money in Canada.
Bringing home tens of billions of dollars of investment will build homes, factories, pipelines, technology and moreโto break our dependence on the U.S.

Pierre and his team have put forward policies that will put Canada First and back on a path of growth and prosperity. Happy to support @SayidAhmedYEG and the other members on the Conservative team.
