@JesseRogersESPN This all comes down to whether they get their starting pitching back and they are effective. If so, the team will be pretty good. If not, then it’s a replay of the 1985 Cubs. A good team derailed by rotation injuries.
A much-needed huge comeback win for the Cubs, winning 7-6 after trailing 6-3 heading into the 9th. If this team makes the playoffs, tonight may be the turning point. Impressive that PCA overcame his lost flyball to hit a solo home run and then drive in the winning run.
@stopgooninnng@ChiefCub Totally agree that that has needed improvement for a little while now. I just consider that kind of baked in the cake with this team focusing more on defense than elite hitting. But you can’t defend balls going over the wall because your good pitching is injured.
I just went 82-0. The lineup:
PG Brunson Knicks
SG Goodrich Suns
SF McGrady Rockets
PF McAdoo Clippers
C Chamberlain Warriors

@ScottNover No one can expect to keep their job after ripping a new boss publicly in a staff meeting, then refusing to be cordial in a follow up meeting to try and establish a professional, working relationship. Pelley either wanted to be fired or has a completely unchecked ego.
Trey Beard was absolutely magnificent for @FSUBaseball in the elimination game against coastal Carolina. Beautiful breaking pictures and excellent fastball location. Nine strikeouts in four innings of work to maintain a 2–1 win. Huge, clutch performance.
@neontaster@redsteeze It is the majority of that party’s voters in the primary election that force these choices, not the party itself. Quite often the party organization is trying to prevent such candidates from winning the primary.
Now on a home run to Konnor Griffin the catcher sets up at the knees outside and he hits the top of the zone away. That is missing your spot by 2 feet. Allows the slugger to extend his arms and lift.
Jameson Taillon may be washed. Just consistently misses location and gives up rockets game after game. Barrel rate has almost doubled from last year. First pitch to Brandon Lowe is in his nitro zone, a fastball down and low to the left-handed hitter. #Cubs
@iowahawkblog Self reporting an NCAA violation is absolutely the stupidest thing to do. The NCAA is incompetent and usually unable to prove their cases. Self reporting allows them to hammer you.
