Where was that interest when McConnell blocked all of President Obama's federal court nominees from 2015-2017, allowing Trump to inherit 100 vacancies and pack the courts with (mostly white male) GOP picks?
Aimee Stephens was the first trans person whose civil rights case was heard by the Supreme Court, according to the ACLU.
She died last month at the age of 59, before she could hear the decision.
But today, the Supreme Court ruled in her favor.
