Iv been watching Arsenal for 35 years and this is one of the most special weekends Iv ever witnessed. A turn out and atmosphere like that, the day after losing painfully in a CL final is just mind blowing. We are all fully in love again. ❤️
No other football club in Europe could pull that type of crowd, organically, on a Tuesday night.
That wasn’t some club call to action or organised parade, that was just fans. A fanbase.
You can’t buy that. You can’t fake that.
Incredible to be part of a proper club.
Mikel got this club back in the UCL. We lost against Bayern in the quarter finals, next season we lost in the semis, today he took us to the first UCL Final in 20 years. Don’t forget where we were before he joined. The transformation is something that we should never forget.
I’m running the London marathon tomorrow. The day after today, which happens to be the world’s most beautiful day in history for drinking ice colds pints in a beer garden. Ffs.
I’m all up for getting the crowd going for big games, it just seems like every game we are trying to be BIGGER than the last, and it’s all too emotional. Playing big games needs to become normal for this team, and doesn’t require a larger rallying cry than the last one.
I’m 100% behind Arteta and really am desperate to see him win us our first title in years, but really do think the time for big sound bites after pressers is over, and the team needs to show their mettle on the pitch.
@charles_watts@xenon21 I have no specific game in mind, but feel like our CL away form has been brilliant, and when faced with a stat like this we have won about 4-0 each time!?!? Let’s hope I’m right tonight!
@4Chyke@Rory_Talks_Ball I get it. Havertz was at 10. Should have been other way around for me personally. I’m not attacking odegaard just saying what I see. He’s been so unlucky with injuries but in my view it’s affected his form. We can’t afford any more sentiment (after Kepa) and need to pick on form
@02_arsenal64949@4Chyke@Rory_Talks_Ball Then question has to be asked wether the team is best served with Odegaard as a deeper lying midfield player? I personally like him up the pitch in areas where his passing and eye to penetrate the opposition is maximised. Defo not attacking him. Injuries have hurt him this season
@4Chyke@Rory_Talks_Ball I guess because (and I could be totally wrong) I don’t remember him playing one through ball that created a clear chance, or having a shot that nearly became a goal. I remember him weaving around the half way line knitting good passes together. That’s not where I want my 10.
@TikiTakaConnor Most likely because the tournaments themselves have been expanded and it’s almost impossible for a devent team to be eliminated in the groups. England will have 3 games in 2.5 weeks to get Bedded in when they get there.
@shebahn might want to have a little think about your Rupert going to the toilet after eating Sri Lankan food comment in the show earlier this morning. Bit disrespectful, and borderline racist. Does Sri Lankan food always leave you rushing for the loo? Curious about your thinking
