COVID-19 was incredibly worrisome and risky as a respiratory infection and coronavirus that had never previously been studied for vaccination. It’s also extremely contagious, doesn’t always produce symptoms, and kills or incapacitates a small proportion of its hosts

And the nurses, doctors, and teachers I met in the New York area who have worked on the frontlines to save lives and keep us going.
