Here’s a great photo I used for one of my assignments. This is the amount of footfall a 4 ball will do on 1 green. Going into winter understand why your greenstaff will protect the greens at all costs. Whether they’re frozen or wet, you can see how much wear they will have. 1/2
Wise words from a wise guy 😂. All seriousness weather is something you should never get yourself stressed over. You can put yourself through absolute hell and for what? You will never ever beat nature and that my friends is a fact! 💚
@JoddyLoo Enjoyment is more important than scoring anyway Steve so keep going butty 💪. I'm good thank you, grass is still growing so not out of a job yet lol. 😅
@HgkJohnc Hiya John mate. Mr kimmings and myself were actually chatting about you on our travels around the course. Even if it was regarding leather jackets lol hope you're keeping well butty ☺️👍
Was great to see you my friend. Enjoyed doing the filming with you also. Doing the videos really made me miss interacting on here with everyone. The turf family on here are awesome.

@CuthbertEddie Deffo mate. Coring is never a bad thing. Especially when you genuinely have suffering greens etc. Just I think methods and technology have moved on with the times 👍😎
🚨🚨 Since part 1 did well with great interaction, here's part 2 of coring. I was very mislead with what I learned over the years with disturbance theory but thats ok because it gives me the opportunity to do "MY" own original take on it anyway 😎👌#greenkeepingwithjames
@PhilColl_ICL Thanks Phil and absolutely right. OM management is top priority. Sometimes there will be instances where coring is inevitable due to numerous circumstances but IF things are balanced then I see no need to do what the book says. Cheers mate 🍻
@Woolleyparkgolf Absolutely matey. I said previously times have moved on, people are out mowing surfaces in a hard frost to get rid of worm casts and end up with a lovely cut surface and no damage. Jim Arthur wouldn't be turning, he be spinning in his grave lol. Keep up the great work bud 👌💪
@Radyrgreenkeep1 Beautifully put mate 👌 and it's testament to the course and work you put in. Always hear never ending praise of the surfaces you guys produce there 💪😎
