As a man in his 30s, I cannot comprehend how someone my age or even several years younger can feel any attraction to a 16 year old girl, let alone go through with having sexual intercourse with her.

It may be legal in the UK, but a 16 year old 99% of the time still looks like a child. To me, it’s instantly noticeable, no matter how much makeup they wear or how they dress.

I think some people have this idea that teenagers look like they do in teen dramas like the show Euphoria, not realising that 90% of the cast playing teenagers are in their mid to late 20s and sometimes even early 30s.

At the end of the day, just because something is legal doesn’t make it morally right. There’s a reason we have the concept of adulthood. It’s supposed to come with the maturity to recognise when someone is still fundamentally a child, regardless of what the law says.
