Tshisekedi didn’t just let Michela Wrong publish another anti-Rwanda screed on NBC News, he bankrolled it. The DRC regime funnelled $6.7 million into Western media propaganda newspapers, including NBC, as part of a desperate PR stunt to paint Rwanda as the villain. This isn’t journalism. It’s paid propaganda disguised as reporting. When your business model depends on that kind of cash, you don’t investigate the truth. You bark at whoever your paymaster tells you to. And in this case, Tshisekedi said bark at President Kagame. NBC wagged its tail.
