Happy to contribute to the snailing of TruPro3! After some exploration a safer route was found. This provides an important link which means we now have continuous snailed routes from the Lizard to Lostwithiel! Thanks to those walking tricky Cornish paths. @SlowWaysUK#slowways
@DanRavenEllison@SlowLara2022@SlowWaysUK Had a similar situation on HayHel where the council have closed a path indefinitely. Might be a nice feature to flag a route for a check in a years (?) time to see if it's resolved. I'm sure once the A30 upgrade is done, crossing will be easier.
Treated myself to a @SlowWaysUK walk today in the South Downs, while travelling between Sussex and Cornwall. Happy to say I gave PetLip1 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Mine is the 3rd review, but no snail yet as a previous reviewer raised an issue with safety (I'm not convinced). #slowways
Walked ProMev1 (⭐️⭐️⭐️) and StaMev1(⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) on a lovely winters day today in Cornwall. Both good enough to be added to the #slowways network, and both should be snailed, given existing reviews and the fact 3 of us completed them today! @SlowWaysUK
I was happy to pioneer the @SlowWaysUK route from Indian Queens to Probus in Cornwall today. It was an enjoyable walk, with one major amendment required (uploaded new route). Two of us did this, so looking for one more person to snail it!

@Mary_OzAgain@SlowWaysUK Totally agree with you. Those reviews combined don't offer any reassurance that the slow way in it's entirety is suitable. A false snail if I ever saw one! I think reviews like these should be moved to a 'comments' section or similar.
@SlowWaysUK No worries, it's an interesting challenge. I'll try and make an alternative incorporating the bits that work, but part of me feels a totally different route might be needed!
Tried out HayHel1 yesterday down here in Cornwall. Unfortunately an all too familiar situation once out in the sticks with some poorly maintained/non-existent footpaths. The problem will affect HayHel2 as well - both will be getting 1⭐️.Time for a new route - onwards! #slowways
Tried out PenSti2 from Penzance from St Ives on Saturday. Sadly not a viable route given some non-existent footpaths around Nancledra and Trink. PenSti3 taking in more of St Michael's Way (a safe bet) submitted and ready to try! #slowways
Yesterday I tried RedTru2, starting in Redruth. Pleased to say that I think it should be part of the network, and gets a 3 star rating from me. Some lovely parts through Cornwall's mining landscape, but a tricky bridleway and a fair bit of road walking too @SlowWaysUK#slowways
