My final Council meeting, at least for now. It has been the pleasure and privilege of a lifetime to work on Sudan, South Sudan, West Africa, SDGs and the UK Overseas Territories at the UN, and to work with such excellent colleagues at the UN and @UKUN_NewYork.

Today the @UN Security Council met to discuss Sudan.

Sudan is facing a humanitarian crisis and acute food insecurity which is disproportionately impacting women and girls.

The Council underlined support for @UN-led efforts and urged the international community to scale-up aid.
