More prisoners should absolutely be granted sentence reviews if they have shown significant improvement. We can punish prisoners more severely & risk changing them for the worse, or we can design sentencing rules in a way that helps prisoners rehabilitate & change for the better.

I look at my wife & think.. you waited YEARS for me whilst I was in prison. You parented alone, was faithful, supportive, kept everything going, fought my battles & kept the fire burning for me. When else does love get tested like this. Soppy, yes but overly appreciative & lucky

The prison bell is so misused by prisoners that prison officers pretty much ignore them. My cell mate who was elderly was struggling with breathing problems. I pressed the bell, it took 45mins for them to come & turn it off to say they will ask medical team to come, eventually.
