A defamation action taken bv Wolfe Tones singer Brian Warfield against RTE over comments made by former Liveline presenter Joe Duffy has been settled on confidential terms.

The High Court action related to an on-air clash in August 2023 during which Mr Duffy accused Mr Warfield of "glorifying slaughter" and talking "guff".
