“What would the soldiers of World War I think, after the horrible sacrifices they made, indeed giving up their youth, their health, their comfort and often their lives, if they could see what France, or Belgium, or Great Britain have become today.”
Renaud Camus
Here we go again.
John Cleese — the comedian and national treasure — has been reported to the Government’s counter-extremism programme, Prevent, over his social media posts about Islam.
The ability to criticise, debate, challenge and mock a religion is a fundamental right in Britain. Parliament voted to abolish our blasphemy laws in 2008 — 18 years ago. Yet it appears we now have one for Islam alone.
The official Islamophobia definition — repackaged as “anti-Muslim hostility” — has emboldened those who wish to silence criticism of Islam.
One of John’s posts in question reads: “I personally prefer a culture that does not approve of FGM, child marriage and killing infidels.”
The Islamic website 5Pillars reports that the complainant described John’s posts as “dehumanising and collectively attributing violence and criminality to Muslims”, and assessed the risk as “moderate to high”.
Enough is enough. This madness must stop. We cannot allow an Islam-specific blasphemy law to take root.
We stand with @JohnCleese and are ready to help him should he need it.
Today we are incredibly grateful for the courage and quick action by pilot Cpt. Smit Machchhar who was stabbed by his copilot on FZ1073, yet still managed to open the cockpit door and call for help before collapsing. His heroism in the moment of crisis saved over 170 lives today.
Israelis are all wishing him a full recovery and are thankful for his leadership. 🙏🏽 🇮🇱 🤝 🇮🇳
Like the Jewish people in general, Scooter Braun and Sydney Sweeney are no strangers to sustained public outrage.
In other words, they’re perfect for each other, and she’ll make a fine Jew.

A 13-year-old girl was kidnapped from her home. Hours later, a man stopping for gas noticed something that made his heart drop.
It was the exact SUV from the Amber Alert, right in front of him. Daniel Cosby checked the plate, realized it matched, and called 911.
But Daniel didn’t just make the call and drive away. He stayed behind the SUV for several miles, keeping it in sight and updating dispatch as deputies raced to catch up.
When police finally moved in, the suspect, 45-year-old Jason Castillo, refused to stop and tried to flee. Deputies disabled the SUV and surrounded it. Inside, they found 13-year-old Juliet alive and unharmed.
Daniel was just going about his day, but because he paid attention and refused to look away when it mattered, a missing girl made it home safely.
So let’s share this story and give Daniel the recognition he deserves.
The most deserved belt in history was given to Bridger Walker the little boy who saved his little sister from a German shepherd dog. He had 90 stitches all over his body, but saved his three-year-old sister from certain death. And had said "If anyone has to die, it would be me, I am the big brother" ❤️ 👉 The World Boxing Council 94 94 (WBC) has recognized him as a full time world champion. He has the official WBC historical record, for being the best fighter in the world for a day. 👏👏👏👏👏 total respect, 👏👏👏👏👏
‘British national’ is nothing more than a tax designator. Everything else formerly associated with the words, most particularly a sense of collective ‘we’ and the social contract that once went with it is gone. Successive ‘national’ governments authored this destruction. All the British ‘values’ they point a finger at are confected bullshit designed to further subvert whatever shreds of dignity you had left.
There may be some legitimate reason for what appears on the face of it to be a totally insane decision.
But after the Afghan superinjunction, the Yookay state no longer has the benefit of the doubt.
It has burned through its last reserves of trust and confidence.
“The ideals of free enterprise and global leadership, central to American conservatism, are responsible for the greatest reduction in human misery since mankind began its long climb from the swamp to the stars. This remarkable progress has been America’s gift to the world.”
🇺🇸🇮🇶 This footage from Mosul in 2017 shows one of the bravest things ever caught on camera
David Eubank, a former Green Beret running the Free Burma Rangers aid group, dashed through ISIS sniper fire to grab a little girl who was lying next to her mother's body, while former Navy SEAL Ephraim Mattos and another teammate covered him from behind a tank.
He came back with the girl alive.
Mattos was shot in the leg during the same mission.
ABSOLUTE LEGENDS.
