Hobbs refused to stop fraudsters. These are just a few that got caught. Look up the sober living homes scam.... billions lost!
The sad part, she is proud of this horrible record.
✅Arizona House Republicans Secure Major Budget Wins for Families and Taxpayers
Republican Majority Plan delivers historic tax relief, slows spending growth, protects school choice, backs law enforcement, reforms welfare programs, and blocks Hobbs-backed tax hikes
“This is what Republican leadership looks like. We took the Majority Plan to the voters, brought it to the negotiating table, and secured a budget agreement that reflects those priorities. Arizona families will keep more of what they earn. Parents will keep school choice. Public safety will be funded. Government will be smaller. Welfare programs will be held to basic standards, and Governor Hobbs’ push for higher taxes and bigger government was stopped.
“Families are tired of politicians treating their paycheck like government property. This budget gives money back to the people who earned it, blocks new taxes before they hit household budgets, brings spending growth under control, and makes state government live within its means. That is a major win for Arizona.” -@AZHouseGOP Speaker @SteveMontenegro
“Republicans stood together and secured a better budget. Governor Hobbs and Democrats wanted higher taxes, new fees, bigger programs, and more spending. We said no. Instead, we secured one of the strongest tax relief packages in state history, protected school choice, funded public safety, and put limits on the growth of government.
“This budget matters because it helps the people paying the bills. The worker earning overtime, the server earning tips, the family paying for childcare, the senior living on a retirement income, and the parent trying to choose the best school for their child all come out ahead.” - Majority Leader @MichaelCarbone
“Arizonans are paying more for groceries, gas, housing, insurance, and childcare. The last thing families need is state government taking more from them. This budget cuts taxes, blocks new fees, protects parents, and puts affordability first.” - Majority Whip @JWilloughbyAZ
“Government has to fund core services, but it also has to answer to taxpayers. This budget brings spending growth below the combined rate of inflation and population growth, reduces agency operating costs, eliminates unfunded positions, and reforms public assistance eligibility. Republicans protected what matters while making government smaller and more disciplined. That is exactly what taxpayers deserve.” - Speaker Pro Tempore @NealCarterAZ

Arizona workers don't clock out when the bills stop coming. They pick up extra shifts. They work the late tables. They grind through overtime to make ends meet, and they deserve to keep every dollar they earn.
House Republicans fought to make that happen:
▪️ No state tax on tips
▪️ No state tax on overtime
Governor Hobbs vetoed both.
While workers are stretching every paycheck to cover groceries, rent, and gas, she said no to letting them keep more of what they already earned.
House Republicans will keep fighting for the workers who keep Arizona running.

🔥 Rep. @MatthewGress nails it:
“We trust people; they trust government.”
That’s the choice in this budget debate.
✅@AZHouseGOP wants Arizonans to keep more of what they earn.
❌Democrats want higher taxes and more government spending.
No Tax on Tips. Retirement Relief. Education Funding. Hobbs Vetoed ALL of It.
After weeks of walking away from budget negotiations, Governor Hobbs returned and rejected a plan that delivered real, immediate relief for Arizona families.
This was a budget that eliminated taxes on tips, provided relief for working families, and delivered retirement tax relief for seniors. It fully funded education, supported public safety, and kept spending under control without growing government beyond its means.
These aren’t abstract ideas, they are real solutions that lower costs and strengthen Arizona’s future.
House Republicans fought for these priorities and got them passed.
Hobbs once again, VETOED.
We remain committed to getting a responsible budget across the finish line, one that puts Arizona families first.

Arizona Republicans are delivering a serious, balanced budget for our state that spends about $800 million less than Governor Hobbs’ plan.
This plan cuts taxes, lowers costs for families, and fully funds the core services Arizonans rely on, all while staying within a responsible budget we can afford.
It includes one of the largest tax relief packages in state history:
✅No tax on tips or overtime
✅Relief for families, seniors, and small businesses
✅No need to refile 2025 taxes
This $1.45 billion tax relief package targets those struggling with persistent inflation and cost-of-living pressures.

Medical freedom means giving people the ability to make informed decisions about their own healthcare.
Arizona House Republicans believe individuals and families, not government, should choose the care that’s right for them.
That includes protecting patient choice, increasing transparency in healthcare decisions, and ensuring Arizonans have access to clear, honest information about their options.
Defending medical freedom is about preserving personal responsibility, protecting individual rights, and putting patients back at the center of their own care.

Arizona voters are being asked to decide on laws that can be funded and influenced by groups outside our state.
That means when you see a ballot question, you may not know who is really behind it.
SB1429 changes that by requiring disclosure when out-of-state groups are involved in ballot measures.
Because Arizona laws should be shaped by Arizonans, not outside influence.

Election security doesn’t start on Election Day, it runs through every step of the process.
And that includes the machines used to receive and count votes.
If voting equipment is connected to the internet, it creates risk. That’s just the reality of modern technology.
House Republicans are taking action to secure election systems, strengthen chain of custody, and protect every vote from start to finish. Securing the system, from ballot to tabulation.
🗳️ What matters most to you, security, transparency, or speed?

Arizona voters deserve answers, not weeks of waiting when it comes to our elections.
House Republicans are working to fix election timing by moving up key deadlines, shortening ballot curing, and delivering faster, more reliable results.
Delays create confusion, frustration, and doubt. Arizona should not be the last state reporting results. House Republicans are taking action to fix it.
🗳️ Do you think election results should be finalized faster?

✅HB 2223 Signed Into Law to Stop Sex Offenders From Using Name Changes to Evade Accountability
Republican-backed public safety law closes loophole, strengthens victim notification, and protects communities from predators
“Sex offenders should not be able to change their name and slip through cracks that put Arizona families at risk. This bill closes a loophole and locks in accountability. Victims deserve to know when the person who harmed them is trying to change identities through the courts. If you are required to register, you will not use a name change to hide your past, dodge scrutiny, or erase your trail.” -@AZHouseGOP Chairman @QuangNguyenAZ, sponsor of HB 2223.

Arizona deserves certainty this upcoming Tax Day. That’s why Speaker @SteveMontenegro and Senate President @votewarren have a clear message: Go ahead and file.
Earlier this year, Republicans acted quickly to provide relief and clarity for families, including tax cuts, childcare deductions, and retirement relief. Those solutions were vetoed by Governor Hobbs, leaving taxpayers with confusion during filing season.
Now, Republicans are holding the line.
➡️ No delays
➡️ No amended returns
➡️ No paying more later
Arizona families should not be penalized for government confusion. File your taxes with confidence. House and Senate Republicans are fighting to make sure you don’t have to refile.

🚨Governor Hobbs vetoed tax relief for Arizona families!
She vetoed:
❌ A higher standard deduction
❌A childcare deduction
❌ A larger child tax credit
❌ No tax on tips
❌ No tax on overtime
❌ Tax relief for seniors
House and Senate Republicans did our job. We acted early. We passed a responsible tax relief bill. We gave taxpayers certainty before filing season.
Governor Hobbs had no plan, offered no alternative, and vetoed relief anyway.
This confusion is on her. The @AZHouseGOP will keep fighting for Arizona families, workers, seniors, and small businesses—whether the Governor stands with them or not.

BREAKING: The world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa, in Dubai just lit up in the American 🇺🇸 flag on the occasion of President Trump’s visit tonight to the UAE.
Last night, the Arizona House passed a bipartisan agreement to save and fund a vital safety net program for 59,000 Arizonans with developmental disabilities.
The measure also provides guardrails and accountability to ensure that a governor can never bankrupt our Medicaid program again.
As has been said before, we should not pit compassion against accountability.
I look forward to the Senate passing and Governor Hobbs signing this bill into law.
