It’s not a game-wrecking pass rusher, but Devon Witherspoon changes the defense with a mix of competitiveness, physicality, playmaking instincts & coverage versatility you *never* find in CBs his size. The secondary is absolutely loaded with studs and flexible chess pieces.
At TE, Seattle could look ahead with this strong class, and either cut Parkinson or trade Fant (& and his entire cap hit) to make room this year. Their historical thresholds at TE appear to be ~33" arms and ~7.15 3-cone.
A Seahawks 2023 mock draft board, highlighting potential draft targets for Seattle.
AMA and my newborn will do everything she can to prevent an answer before the draft begins!
At WR, Dareke & Eskridge theoretically provide a smidge of both balance and redundancy to the DK/Lockett skill sets. BPA at some point, perhaps a versatile Z to compete for WR3? Every Seahawks WR drafted by PCJS earlier than R7 ran sub-4.50
@cmikesspinmove@CNNPolitics Roy, especially for Seattle. His technique run or pass stands out in this DT class. And Abdullah seems slept on relative to the other size-deficient edges getting all the hype
LB cope: Noah Sewell played borderline R1-caliber ball in the 2nd half of ‘22, same as ‘21.
Jack Campbell too, all year. Drew Sanders & Trenton Simpson are really athletic. Daiyan Henley is good & possibly ready.
None should go R1, but there are potential 2023 starters.
@dzonsnajder I hate (/love) to encourage @cmikesspinmove, but Stroud has Dak/'22 Geno super-kirk vibes. QB1
Tyree may be Him, both in terms of deserving a top 5-10 spot in a weak draft, and who SEA ultimately drafts.
Clemson DL's haven't really improved since freshman year🤷♂️ Fun flashes tho
If (when) JS catches scouting feels for Will Levis, or perhaps even Waldron : CJ Stroud, all it takes is Pete to agree for this to become a lot more than draft szn smoke
