@ZaidJilani This is literally the exact problem with injecting religion into politics. How can any political system or political actor adjudicate who is a “correct” Christian?
It just always leads to unresolvable sectarianism.
@CathyYoung63 I mean this is literally the exact problem with injecting religion into politics. How can any political system or political actor adjudicate who is a “correct” Christian?

@micahr238 @c7227dpr @dsonoiki You didn’t. The statute requires release. Any redactions need an explanation. That can include national security or an active investigation. They haven’t released anything. No explanation. Why? You can’t explain it.
@micahr238 @c7227dpr @dsonoiki That is verbatim how it works. Read the statute. That your boy Trump signed and now refuses to comply with. Why? You guys still can’t answer that lol. Call me a retard all you want but you can’t
@scullytaco@3pactruther@dsonoiki Being called a retard isn’t a response.
I’m not asking you whether “we” can handle it.
I’m asking why the Trump administration hasn’t released the files, which you definitely haven’t answered.
The law requires they be released and they aren’t. Why?
@micahr238 @c7227dpr @dsonoiki They can redact for cases under active investigation. They just have to release all other material. Why not release everything and let the public sort it out?
@GeoffDuncanGA@realDonaldTrump I’m a Georgian. I’m not a Republican but I do admire what you have done. I’m hoping Republicans and Democrats can get back to the business of making this county great once this sad chapter of history is done.
@Avigdore@DrewSav Well unfortunately for you, people in this county are allowed to vote differently than you, no matter how “ignorant” you think that is.
And you can keep pretending these races aren’t partisan, when you and I both know that’s not true.
@Avigdore@DrewSav Yes, I do think that. Some people are not as engaged in the political process as people like us. They deserve full info on the ballet so they can make informed choices.
More information=better process. Not hard to understand.
@Avigdore@DrewSav I prefer for the system to fully inform its voters who they are voting for and who they stand for.
You prefer a system that hides what people stand for.
I think I’m the one standing up for voting rights thanks very much.
@shibadad8 Yes, but it’s also really important to point out that Republicans explicitly designed the ballot to confuse people who aren’t familiar with politics.
Reject their “non-partisan” talking points. It’s BS and they know it.
@RashaunKemp Also, don’t bother debating people who make disingenuous talking points like this.
Just keep pointing out what they are doing. They don’t have a response and if we keep pointing it out, it will be less effective.
@RashaunKemp Yes, the exact scam is that when they say “non-partisan,” they mean republicans, and when they say “partisan,” they mean democrats.
It’s a stupid little trick. It won’t work next time.
