@unb2005@ETFOeducators The school boards, at least, would not be allowed to participate in any such thing. Even if the school board administrators personally wanted to.
The govt went to great lengths to inflate the funding increase to #onted. Hosting 2 media conferences over 2 days to create an impression that they are investing 100s of millions into ‘basic needs’ of students is completely disingenuous. Learn why https://t.co/eKRODGoIzM #onpoli
The action doesn’t stop on Saturday! We have to keep building pressure.

We cannot normalize the use of the Notwithstanding Clause, particularly in collective bargaining.
It's been used to eliminate the rights of CUPE workers, it's coming for all of education.
No worker will have rights if this becomes standard practice. #onted#OnLab
@FlaggRon@ONT_Dad And illegal? I suppose that is correct. The unethical move to declare this strike illegal, encroaching on these workers rights, is exactly what precipitated the strike to happen, and why it is, illegal or not, entirely justified.
@FlaggRon@ONT_Dad Not my strike, but I fully support my fellow unionized workers.
Here is hoping you are never in the position these workers have been placed in... pal
@FlaggRon@ONT_Dad You unionized, @ONT_Dad?
And why do you feel like you have to fight this? As a parent you benefit when the workers at schools are well paid and satisifed.
CUPE workers want to keep their own kids fed.
