Applications Now Open: UN Food Systems Youth Leadership Programme 2026

The UN Food Systems Coordination Hub is accepting applications for the next cohort of the Youth Leadership Programme (YLP).

This programme is for young leaders working or interested in food systems, sustainable development, climate action, policy, research, entrepreneurship, advocacy, and community impact.

✅ Benefits include:

• Systems thinking and leadership skills
• Access to a global network of peers and experts
• Mentorship and peer learning
• Practical tools to strengthen your impact
• Exposure to global food systems processes and partnerships

✅ Who can apply? • Young people aged 18–35
• Applicants proficient in English
• Nationals of low- or middle-income countries, especially from Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean
• People with experience in food systems, sustainable development, climate action, or related fields
• Applicants committed to programme activities through 2028
