@GrahamNeary I invest in companies which I believe are cheap and therefore can grow in value.
The dividend pays for the time to get there
That's the theory at least I follow!
Exciting news! #FIPP announcing a new company to their portfolio - Deakin Bio-Hybrid. Complements other companies such as Alusid& Nandi Proteins. Big moves and even bigger possibilities lie ahead. #Growth#ExcitingTimesAhead ๐
I've wrote my thoughts about Frontier IP group (#FIPP) about why I think it'll be a great long term investment. Only my thoughts and would welcome to hear any other opinions out there https://t.co/e5Tp9aeLzl
@willtheobaldho1 Good to know ๐. Luckily I'm in it for long term so trying to concentrate on the business than the share price, but it's tough mentally.
@fwyburd Im a holder too so am a bit miffed. However, 3 of their clients make up 77% of their business. If they lose one of them, it'll radically change the business. It'll never trade of a premium with a big risk like that imo
The UK mortgage time bomb numbers are bad enough as they are, but they get really sickening when you think of them as an effective pay cut.
An increase of ยฃ500 in monthly payments (coming to 1m households by 2026) is ยฃ6,000 per year, which equates to about a *ยฃ10,000 pay cut*
#dwf can someone help a novice like myself understand the potential offer;
97p + 3p dividend . Can I just elect to recieve 100% cash according to the RNS? not a big holding for me but every little helps
@DonaldPond6@MayorOfWY Productivity isn't necessarily the holy grail for public services though. The needs of society should matter more than squeezing every bit of efficiency from the system
@emsybem2020@moving_charlie but that is mainstream thinking, not some kind of radical out-there thinking. Price of debt goes up, price of assets come down. Economics 101
@emsybem2020@moving_charlie haha wtf. Someone predicting house price falling due to increase in mortgage rates and don't trust estate agents. my nan could have told you that. it's not pioneer thinking
@VictorB30355361@Sorelle_Arduino@Wickes Kingfisher is down 3.2% last 5 days, Wickes is down 6.93%. Kingfisher has stores in 9 countries and several brands so isn't as reliant on the UK market as Wickes
