My decades in the aerospace industry taught me that the real impact will come from the routes they enable, the trade they facilitate, and the partnerships they unlock.

@UG_Airlines’s first direct @Boeing order signals Uganda’s growing role in commercial diplomacy.

Modern aviation is connects producers to markets, attracts investment, expands tourism, supports exports, strengthens business travel, and deepens ties with the African diaspora.

Uganda now needs to effectively integrate these new capabilities into a broader economic strategy, developing routes that support trade, strengthening cargo and logistics, growing tourism, and positioning Entebbe as a gateway for regional commerce.
