Nearly 7 months ago I applied for the NASA FINESST fellowship to fund the rest of my PhD. Today, I'm excited to announce I was rated Excellent/Very Good (8 / a 9 point scale)!

Despite this, I was not selected for funding

Funding this year was incredibly competitive with only 16/75 proposals in my area selected for funding.

The reviewers gave high marks for my science questions, plan, and data sources. I'm excited to turn this idea into a different proposal sometime down the road!
