Back to 9 to 5 rehearsals next week (tickets selling like hot cakes - BUY NOW) - and then the week after, rehearsals start for Anything Goes!
Luckily, nothing lined up after that, so looking forward to a well deserved break (by which I mean the day job, and the day job ONLY!)

Just got back from watching the Lord of the Rings musical at @WatermillTh in Newbury.
Absolute perfection in story telling through music, and a superbly talented cast of actor-musicians.
Only a few weeks left but would strongly recommend catching it if you can!
Well here’s some exciting news!
As well as doing Anything Goes next May, I’ll also be heading back to the Theatre Royal in February to musically direct 9 to 5 for the lovely @bathoperatic!
We had the best of times doing Guys and Dolls - and this will be an amazing follow-up!
Two days in the office this week, and then out for the rest playing keys for Tri.Arts production of Our House (yes, the Madness musical).
Sometimes there’s nothing nicer than just having to turn up, play, and go home, without any responsibility.
So after putting up with crappy internet from EE for far too long, I switched the sim in my router out to a Vodafone one.

Went for a generic lunch today and got (delightfully) ambushed for a belated birthday lunch instead, after not getting to celebrate it because of EyeGate last week.
And after so many years of not celebrating my birthday, it was actually pretty lush. #level38#birthdaycatchup
Every year, Karin Slaughter releases her new book about two weeks before or after my birthday. For over a decade, it’s been my birthday present to myself.
And this years book is out!
