If this isn't a quid pro quo deal I dont know what is. "You get us the money and we'll put your name on it"???
Favre needs to be arrested and charged, without his money factoring in sentencing
Filing: Favre sought funds amid legality questions https://t.co/EuGusFCiXF
@MetsDelusional@longboy2406 Pache had his moments, but most of us wanted him because if his speed in CF. He may go on to have a decent career, but AA is not in waiting mode. I expect some jitters from Harris this year, but I also expect some highlight reel material.
@CalebLeonard20@DOBrienATL I disagree. I believe he will eventually be put on the HOF. Without him, the Braves don't win this 5 game division title streak, and they definitely don't win the WS in '21. Very HOF worthy resume, IMO.
@DOBrienATL I was one of the fans who wanted Dansby back, but only because the banning of the shift meant SS defense was going to have a HUGE impact on the game. However, I do agree that Grissom has a higher upside and was definitely the right road to take, offensively and financially.
@BarrettsGoat@Ken_Rosenthal@JeffPassan Ozzie keeps the guys loose. The $400M contracts for every player has to keep everyone under pressure. I'll take the loose guys
I may be the only one, but I am seriously holding out hope that we'll add both and run a six-man. If Soroka can be anywhere in the vicinity of where he once was, best 5th man in MLB

@jay_es_one @DOBrienATL Yeah that's a tough issue to have. Can't put anyone in the Top 25 because they're all in the bigs, with extensions till they're 30!!!
Sometimes it just feels good to be a Braves fan
Random thought.
Ozuna making $16M in 2023.
Value to Braves-a few sporadic HRs
Stigma of domestic violence in clubhouse
Trevor Bauer cost $720K in 2023
Release Ozuna, his $16M hurts a little less. Everything Bauer brings to the mound.
Swap one crap DV for a DV with benfits
@stephenhart09 The first tweet said just a random thought. And I still think it's a legit move. If you're gonna spend the money on a DV, why not make it one that's productive. Regardless of who it is. I don't like Bauer, never been a fan. But, in the end, 80%of a season with Bauer is better
@SparkySloth21@TCollinsDFS@DOBrienATL You're 100% correct, and he will get that and more. I think he has his eyes set on Alcantara, and I believe he would be more apt to sign him long term. Long term for Alex would be 5 years for a pitcher, so the AAV will have to be impressive. I think this gets done this year
@TCollinsDFS@SparkySloth21@TheRealIM_@DOBrienATL I don't see AA even having discussions with Ohtani. He'll looking to get close to $50M per, and Alex wont sink that much into one player, regardless of who it is.
@TCollinsDFS@DOBrienATL Unfortunately I believe, regardless of arbitration results, he will be traded by this year's deadline. 1½ years of Fried would bring back a major haul, and I'm not sure that we haven't passed the point of no return. It's harder to justify long term deals with pitchers
@ATL14ESQ @stephenhart09 We have several SP that seem to be ML ready. Plug them into the Bauer spot, and maybe we get another Strider. Or maybe we find another Glavine, who lost 17 games his first full season. Either way, we get PRODUCTION for the $16M that we're throwing out the window.
@ATL14ESQ @stephenhart09 To be clear, I must reiterate that I was not in favor of the idea. As i said you can take Bauer out of the equation and the bottom line remains the same. Release Ozuna and use that roster spot for someone that will produce SOMETHING. I'd be shocked if AA was considering it
@stephenhart09 As we sit now we have $16M being pissed away
Why not get some needed production, especially when if it doesn't work out, there are options in place, and he will make a HUGE trade piece for pennies, and would bring several pieces needed in farm system
