🚨 EXCL: Tottenham Hotspur reach agreement with Brighton & Hove Albion to sign Jan Paul van Hecke. Deal for 26yo #Netherlands int’l worth £52m fixed, no add-ons. Luka Vuskovic situation separate; 2nd #BHAFC offer worth £35m rejected by #THFC@TheAthleticFC https://t.co/1D4yy6dJp3
@Ben_White86@j1ortinho Whats annoying me is that every podcast is saying, "this is great so far, but we need more".
Well done Einstein. We all know that and the club are quite clearly not done yet. Stop waffling.
@A_Spur@pokeefe1@_HotspurDanny_ Ive said it all along. If we are chasing a goal, throw Spence on and leave just Spence at the back on all set pieces while you throw the kitchen sink at them.
Tottenham supporters will have a negative reaction to the news of Brighton’s £30million offer for defender Luka Vuskovic.
Vuskovic received a lot of praise for his impressive performances on loan with Hamburg in the Bundesliga last season.
It is concerning if the defender feels the best move for his career is to join Brighton permanently.

@_iamchrisf@Ben_White86 That could be an exception, youre right.... I would imagine they want to flip Vuskovic and make bigger money on him after a year or two, given that they've offered to buy him and not loan
@RickySacks@Lilywhite_Rose Brighton wont want to loan him, doesnt suit their model.
They buy to make profit.
If anything, a sale for 40m with a buy back of 70m makes more sense.
🚨 A Somali referee selected to officiate at the upcoming FIFA World Cup has been 𝗥𝗘𝗙𝗨𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗬 to the United States after authorities raised 'vetting concerns' when he arrived in Florida over the weekend.
Omar Artan landed at Miami International Airport on Saturday after travelling from Istanbul but was denied admission into the country.
Artan, who was named the Confederation of African Football’s Men’s Referee of the Year in 2025, is among the 52 officials chosen by FIFA to oversee matches at the tournament.

@Ben_White86@THFCForever_ Yeah, might be able to get him 1v1 or running in behind.
You see Doku up against 2 or 3 defenders for City when hes out wide.
@Ben_White86@THFCForever_ I think its one where Savinho needs space to attack into.
Against low blocks may not suit him which is what City face a lot.
De Zerbi draws out opponents creating space in behind them.
Looking at the positives
