@ThemeParkIQ Could this be related to removing the temporary barriers and tents they installed for the dog screening area? I’ve been wondering when they’d replace that setup with a more permanent wall and shade structure.

@FrshBorkedDsney I unfollowed him. I used to genuinely enjoy his content, but lately it feels like he’s shifted his tone just to provoke reactions for more impressions. I respect different opinions, but milking controversy instead of having a meaningful discussion isn’t why I followed him.

@VashSky Does this mean there will be no restaurant or second ride? Not this photo but the one they showed at D23 made it look like an entire land with the possibilities of restaurants and other attractions. I hope we still get a version of that!

@greatone35j @wallin_ballin It didn’t ruin the land. I love Darkmoor. The hotel sticks out like a sore thumb from certain angles. No effort was made to hide it. Nintendo and Potter do a great job keeping the rest of the park out of view. Helios is visible from Dragons but blends better and is farther away.

@universalapex Helios towers over Darkmoor when you’re within the land. Some claim sightlines aren’t a big deal, but when Universal goes to such great lengths to immerse guests in a dark, gothic village, it’s baffling that a brightly themed, modern hotel was allowed to intrude on that illusion.

@wallin_ballin Not disagreeing with you, but Helios towering over Darkmoor is baffling. Only sightline issue I had at Epic. Disney usually does sightlines better than Universal. Misses happen, but at Disneyland this is really the only one. It should’ve been demolished when Disney acquired it.

@RhannyBravo @wallin_ballin It will be possible once the rides can operate more efficiently. If Disneyland, a 70-year-old park with 34 rides, can maintain an 8 AM to midnight schedule for most of the year, then Epic, with its 11 rides, can definitely do the same.

@wallin_ballin That would be great! I’ve always wished the Orlando parks had longer hours. Being local to Disneyland, I’ve been spoiled by the 8 AM to 12 AM schedule it has for most of the year.

@Sulltheviking @ETicketReport @disneyglimpses Don’t forget about the Grand Californian inside of California Adventure. I’ve stayed in that hotel many times. Great views of the park and no show buildings to be seen! For Helios, all they need to do is add in some trees. I hope that is part of the plan.

@FrshBakedDisney Going through security. Disneyland has the most inefficient security when it comes to speed. They are slow and they don’t always have every security gate open. Downtown Disney security becomes a nightmare in the evenings and this is because Disney does not use every gate.

@thecalibae I'm always skeptical with Disneyland firework dining packages because the fireworks are never guaranteed. I'd be upset if I spent the money for this and happened to be there on a windy night.

@PeterSciretta The way I measured is by looking at the restaurant that looks like Satu'li Canteen to match the size of Pym Test Kitchen. As for the current Uber and drop off area, I don’t think Disney will build that way due to the underground backstage road ramp. This is just me speculating.

@thecalibae I cannot see them obstructing the room views of the Grand Californian. If this were true, Disney would be obstructing 150 premium view rooms.

@thecalibae Am I imagining it or does this say Earl of Sandwich? This could be its new location. Earl on the first floor and the new Tavern on the second. It’s the only building in the mural that does not exist as of yet.
