@clairlemon Supporting Claire here. People that suffer from psychosis often start believing that others are mentally unwell, if they are not able to relate to the world as they do. It’s from the inability to empathise, and an increase in aggressiveness. We all hope Claire gets better soon.
@Nigel_Farage This is such a Psy-Op. They’ll make up again in 2 weeks ahead of the inauguration and Farage will continue to get press coverage, that as the leader of a currently minor political party, he’d never have gotten access to without this kind of PR. I’m actually pretty impressed 😅🥶
@holland_tom (Rhetoric calls for a stupid question) after considering the Punic Wars and the genocide that the Romans reaped on Carthage. And then the wars of early Christendom, before the schism, do you think the shared Sacral identity of Christian kingdoms prevented genocide?
@trussliz You destroyed the conservative party’s chances of re-election. You’re more effect than Starmer at driving voters to Labour. If a fight back is required, you are largely the reason. But great job.
@wil_da_beast630 Largely a bunch of virgins who have never been with a woman let alone known a mother of children / matriarch. They’d prey to be this desirable at 60. Daily reminder that marriage is awesome.
@wil_da_beast630 If you have kids. It’s likely you’ll live 5-10 years longer (late 80’s/90’s) with a higher quality of life to boot, and see your grandkids develop and succeed and maybe even see their kids.
Every time I wake up and think. Wow. The current conservative party is full of UKIP lunatics but it can’t get any worst. I get an email from their fundraising team and they provide proof for the concept that one cannot count to infinity. There are always higher numbers, always ways to become worse. #boatlovers
@Paracelsus1092 @cartographer_s As so in genetics. So in memetics. Passed on traits or behaviours don’t always need to be the most optimised or effective. They just have to be passed on. Blind watchmakers.
@MTVMusicUK@lastdinnerparty So far the first album is a greatest hits album. It’s ludicrously good. My only regret is I won’t be able to bore all my friends by introducing them to them next year as the world will know them. If that there is no doubt.
It’s crazy. People identify Cicero, Brutus or Cato as freedom fighters. Cicero was new money that was doing very well off the republic and wanted status quo (and didn’t really care about morals, think Sulla’s rebellion and the executions). Brutus was a calcified oligarch that flipped flopped whenever fate turned on him, hardly the honour bound man he presents himself as. Cato whilst a badass, was basically a religious fanatic. Caesar was by far the best of them and ushered in the Augustine dynasty which started a 60 year period that catapulted Rome to global super power… and weird kid stuff that is less great. But we’ll not discuss Tiberius/Caligula/Nero.
