MANAGEMENT TEAM APPOINTED:
Kelvin has now completed his lineup of backroom staff for the upcoming season
Carlton Beardmore joins the club as Assistant Manager, completing his move alongside Kelv from Magna
Jake Woolley and Philip Bilson, both highly experienced across senior football and former SDFC players take up the roles of First Team Coaches
Charlotte Jefferies is also retained for the new season after joining the First Team setup last season, continuing her excellent work as Head Physio
Speaking on his backroom team Kelvin said
“Firstly it’s great to continue working with Carlton after our season at Magna together, both of us expect high standards and commitment from the players so I know we’re both on the same page.
Woolley and Billo have both played much higher than our current level so their experiences are invaluable to us aiming for a better season and with a lot of new faces in the squad, I think they’ll both help the group gel quickly. It’s great to have them both on board and also helping us push the standards we’re setting”

We have today received news that we will have a bye in First Round Qualifying
We will then travel to either Aylestone Park or Hucknall on the 12th of September!

Club Statement
First Team Manager appointed!
Saffron Dynamo Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of its new First Team Manager Kelvin Granger!
Kelvin rejoins the club after a few years away and he is no stranger to Saffron Dynamo, having overseen the clubs promotion to Step 6 and the longest FA Vase run we have had.
With his expansive knowledge of the level, local game and player base we have every faith that Kelvin is the right individual to lead the club forward and continue to grow and strengthen our Senior Section.
The management team is being finalised with some more well versed individuals joining and some remaining with the back room staff!
Speaking to Kelvin he said - I’m delighted to be returning to Saffron Dynamo. I’d like to thank everyone at Magna 73 for their support and wish the club all the best for the future. I’m looking forward to getting started and helping Saffron achieve its goal

After a tense first half we managed to go in 1 up at the break, as Henry broke through the defence he found Jack to slot it away, after half time @officialAPFC got 2 quick goals after the break. Step up Sid Holland the tricky wingers brace put us 3-2 up. Saff saw the rest of the game out to be crowned CHAMPIONS!!

Tommorow our under 18s take on @officialAPFC in a league deciding match! The lads head over to Aylestone Park where a win to either side will seal the league, a draw will take it to the final day
