Sad News: 21-year-old Nigerian footballer Victor Akaniyene Udoh has passed away.

The young striker, who was visiting Nigeria on holiday, died after suspected food poisoning following an outing with friends in Abuja.

Udoh, born on October 18, 2004 in Akwa Ibom State, had been playing professionally in Europe. He rose through the ranks at Royal Antwerp in Belgium, with previous spells at Southampton and SK Dynamo Ceske Budejovice.

May his soul rest in peace.
