It is only useful for assessing BTC’s strength. We cannot assume that BTC’s weakness will automatically boost altcoins.

Each coin must be analyzed separately—this cycle is different.

Why is comparing BTC and Gold pointless?

👉 BTC is an excellent growth asset when interest rates are low, the USD is stable, and inflation is low.

👉 Gold is a hedge (protection) during economic uncertainty and tough times.

Investors need to know when to switch between them based on macroeconomic factors.

In short, both assets are valuable, but their purpose and optimal investment timing are different. That’s why BTC and Gold should not be compared directly.
