@jchensor Dead by Daylight changed their "struggle" mechanic from mashing to a timed mechanic just like this a while back. Which was a good choice, cause in addition to the accessibility issue, mashing space bar as fast as possible isn't good for my keyboard.
@terminallyOL I've been doing a third batch of physical therapy for a 6 year old leg injury which I assumed was permanent. But this one is actually improving it a little. My therapist is super knowledgeable and enthusiastic and there have actually been improvements in the past three months.
@CaseyExplosion I love your takes on tactics games and roguelikes, but most games you've put on my radar have either been horror (darkwood, mundaun) or colony builder (against the storm, timberborn)
@kommanderkarl Cool to know. I remember spending several minutes moving back and forth in front of the bullet holes, looking at them from all angles, trying to figure out what was going on. I could tell they weren't destructible, but they were the best looking bullet holes I'd ever seen
@KnowingBetterYT@RealDiegoSnchez I agree with your point that homeschooling is bad but it's not the education that's the issue, that can be better or worse. It's the lack of socialization, which leaves a permanent scar. Social skills learned through trial and error in high school are not replicable through study
@Flailmorpho_ Ctf was fun when games were young but it doesn't work very well nowadays. Neutral flag or single direction flag is definitely the way to go
@EskayOW I am definitely not okay with either, also not okay with team fortress 2 paving the way with hats, so sick of "live service" games. We need to go back to when games were understood to have a shelf life
@hachx0 Funnily enough my library job had a Michael, we called him porn boy, he'd print out pictures and had a binder he'd put them in. He was relatively chill and discrete, there were way worse. Mostly the old people who didn't understand... anything and yelled when that upset them.
