It is logical to conclude that if the threat of republican violence is leading to nationalism being rewarded with an economic United Ireland, then some loyalists may believe that the same strategy should be used to prevent an economic UI especially if our benefits are effected.

No loyalist wants violence of any sort but a dangerous precedent has been set by allowing pan-nationalism to gain political leverage in Brexit talks via the threat of republican terrorism. The UDR must make a comeback in order to preserve the union and withstand any IRA threat.
