@ShamelessPopery love Catholic Churches, but this one seems a bit too much.
Like a giant sand castle or something form the planet Geonosis in Star Wars. It's odd, I think it's a miss.
@rancidlobster@Kaizerrev Nick takes emj's work to a non-catholic place. Nick's Catholicism is sus at a minimum. Definitely feels like he's here to take emj's work too far and tarnish it.
Be wise first before you tinker with anger.
But agreed it can be necessary.

“Let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God.”

No, I dont see the problem you think there is with not taking an innocent life.
It's always wrong to take an innocent life, this is a universal truth. You can play in your sandbox and invent impossible scenarios to try to make an intrinsically evil act moral, but it doesn't work in the real world.
You'll have to find another way to keep baby hitler from becoming hitler; there are many.
@TylerWitwitty@jdflynn@LilaGraceRose how did you get here?
Do you know JD Flynn and his work?
Did you read his bio?
"editor and cofounder at @pillarcatholic. Canon lawyer, husband, dad, Nebraska Admiral."
And those of us here following him are largely Catholic as well.
So, no. Abortion is intrinsically evil.
why is the burden of a healthy, well-behaved child acceptable but not for the unhealthy or poorly behaved? You haven't answered this.
And once there is a burden... now what? abandon the child? what is the point of telling someone with a child that is not well that they are engaging in "suicidal empathy" What would you have them do?
Of course I wouldn't abort a baby; hitler or no.
please explain how they are the same. dont waste time by just repeating. please explain.
How is the baby (created by the parents) attacking the parents? Can parents who feel equally burdened by a healthy child discard the healthy child? What you suggesting here? Is it the attack that makes the killing justified? or the feelings of burden by the parents?
Have thought this thru?
